Leg cramp

I haven't been able to sleep because of a severe leg cramp. I had it often when I was pregnant but this time it doesn't stop and I can not fall asleep anymore! If anybody knows a sure solution, please let me know - I'm trying leg exercises, walking around, massaging, eating more Potassium, but it hadn't helped.
I had a Reiki session on Sat and it helped my nausea and pain somewhat. But I think I need a session every day to keep me well! But I was able to eat more today than yesterday, so it is good. Also I'm going in to get some fluid into me at the hospital on Sun, and it should help me feel better.
Hope everyone is having a nice weekend!

Oops, I hit the button by mistake. Anyway, Mizuho-san, I know the pain of leg cramp... I think you are on a right track by taking more fluid! Are you watching funny movies lately? When you cannot sleep at night, what do you do(besides logging on the computer at 2:16am!)? I think of you everyday!

Hey Mizuho-
When I was pregnant with Jayson I couldn't lay down or stretch my legs without intense leg cramps.

My personal solutions: NO ice cream (the sugar & milk was a bad combo), I got some liquid calcium from the health food store for high absorbency, NO carbon drinks.
I hope this helps! I've heard to eat bananas but that never helped.

Need a combination of salt and potassium - replace your electrolytes.

Masako-san I think the time on my blog is set on Western time, so it was actually 5am and not 2am! I read, go on-line, or do some exercise when I can not sleep.
Hi Rose, my cramp is actually much better after following Dr.M's directions (see today's blog). Thanks!
