Hospital Day 2

Hi - I'm back on-line! Our friends came over and set us up with a laptop with internet! Not to mention other goodies they brought for me. I am now surrounded by Kai's pictures and feel more at home. Thank you so much, the Watsons!
So today I am feeling much better with pain under control. I am doing a little better on bloating/constipation, too. Now I have to work on eating more and then I should be able to leave here in a few days.
My spine fracture is not causing pain where the fracture is, but it is making my left leg numb/painful because the cord is being pressed by the fracture. Isn't it interesting? Anyway, now I can push my own medication in, I'm doing pretty good considering the state I was in yesterday.
Kai is being taken care of at the great day care center - which is open 24 hrs a day. Jim spoke to them about our circumstances and they told us that they are very flexible and can keep him very long time. So Jim is staying with me overnight. We are so thankful we switched to this great day care center.
I spoke to my parents who are coming next week, and they are determined that I'm going to get better. I also spoke to my healer tonight who is working very hard to making me better. So I still haven't given all my hopes up! A miracle can still happen. Please keep me in your prayers - I would really appreciate that!

Mizuho,

Glad to see your update from the hospital.
I spoke to your parents last week on the phone.
Is there anything that you would like from Japan?
I am happy to buy whatever you like and send it to your parents.
I am thinking a baked chocolate cake.

Take a good care of yourself.
I keep praying for you from Japan.

I've been reading your blog everyday. It is awesome to know you are staying in good spirits. I pray and believe that you are going to beat the cancer!!

Your parents must be so excited to see Kai for the first time. He is the only grandchild they have, right? EJ is, too.

The church I go to is doing 3 week fasting. (I only fast a few meals a week.) We pray for 3 things during fasting. Guess what is the #1 on my list? Your healing... I believe in God of miracles.

It was so good to see you and Jim last night. I'm so relieved that your pain is under control. Hopefully now your body can begin to heal itself. Forgot to mention that between the pictures in the photo frame is the adorable picture of Mike/Jim/Nayan/Kai on the sofa. When you want a chuckle, just take that photo out.
I'm right around the corner if you need anything. I can leave work or can come from my apartment at any time.
Let me know if there's something you'd like to have for your parents visit.
Love you!
Val

Good to hear today is a better day!!! I am loving this morphine pump. That is exactly what you need to help you through this phase. Hopefully, they will agree to let you take it home. I am glad you haven't given up Mizuho. I believe in miracles and if anyone deserves one, that will be YOU!!! Keep up the faith and we are praying for you...
