Today I had lots of visitors again. First was Kai - he slept at the day care last night, so Jim had to pick him up and bathe him and cuddle with him before sending him back to to the day care. Then, I was visited by 3 dogs led by two volunteers. They make rounds twice a week here to cheer up the patients. I took a picture with two doggies! It was a good visit. I've been so sleepy today also - couldn't sleep well last night with the pain. The pain medicine switch over wasn't easy. Anyway, it is being taken care of now, so it is ok.
I also had a friend visiting me with her baby girl (so cute!), and my mother-in-law, a chaplain, and another unexpected friend who I hadn't seen for over a year (so good to see you, A-san!)
Then other friends (a couple) who brought their 9 week old dog (miniature dachshund). The dog is so cute but had an accident and peed on my bed! Also, another set of friends who came to visit me briefly - they will be helping my parents get here safely from the airport tomorrow.
So this was my calendar for today - I slept through half the conversations. Sorry everyone if I wasn't making lots of sense. I really appreciate everybody and I love you all! Good night.

Mizuho, we love you too.
Dear Mizuho,
I have been checking your blog every day.
I really respect your upbeat mood.
You must be excited for your parents visit.
Have a great time with them.
love,
Makiko
Good to know the pain is being taken care off to make you comfortable, after the change. One more day before your parents get here, YEAH!!!! See you later today...
We love you, too!!
Do you have anything you need?
I'll get it for you.
I really want to do anything for you, Mizuho.

Mizuho-
Can you have Jim post some pictures of you? Also of you & the dogs? It would be great to see some more pictures of you on-line. I know Jim needs something else to do - ha ha!
I'm hoping your pairents will be here today!! What a nice thing to see them.

Thanks for the comments ladies! I'm waiting for my parents arrival at the hospice now. Rose, Jim put some pictures per your request - but he put some pictures which I do not like at all! The pictures were taken at home, Las Vegas, and Paris, France. Can you identify them?
I have everything I need right here - thank you so much for your thoughtfulness! Just pray that we will get through this tough time all right.
Love you all!
Mizuho, I hope you are going to enjoy your parents' visit. Whenever my mother comes, it is kind of a pain (I hope your mom is not reading this. My mom will have no access to internet). My mom compares everything in the US with what is in Japan. That is, just apples to oranges..! Well, your mom will love Kai, that's for sure. Second your parents will realize how strong you are. Third, they will know how great your husband is (more than before!). Fouth, they will know you have so many great friends around you. Fifth, but not least, your cancer will go away. Mizuho, thank you for being strong!
Mizuho,
We love you so much and are praying for you daily. We are glad to hear that you are being cared for so well. We are making sure we are over our colds before we come to see you. The entire Witte clan is available to do absolutely anything you and Jim need us to do. Nothing is too great so please call on us.
Chris
Hey Mizuho-
Me & the gals enjoyed the pictures. Who are the girls in the picture with your dad? They are too cute.
I know you are thrilled about your parents being there. What a treat for you all! Tell Jim Happy Birthday & thanks for posting the pics- we enjoyed them!!
Also, the girls would love to see the pictures of you & the dogs from the other day.
Mizuho
We love you and think good and positive thoughts everyday. You and Jim know that we are here for you with anything you might need for us to do.
We are so glad your parents are here to be with you to hold and love you.
We will be glad to help them also as they may need it.
You know that we are pretty good at baby sitting and would love to have Kai with us anytime you need for him to be here.
Hugs...to you.
Jim, remember our loving arms are around you always.
Mizuho,
You must have been enjoying your parents and staying busy. I didn't have any time for myself when my parents and brother stayed with me for 3 months about a year ago. We laughed the whole time they were here... I hope you are doing the same.
I really want to come up to ATL to see you, but the time hasn't been right. EJ started in a Crew team and has practice on Sat. as well!! I'll figure something out and surprise you one of these days...
Stay strong and remember God loves you.
Love,
Kazuho
