Hi all - I've been searching for a therapist or counselor who can work with me in line with Dr. Bernie Siegel's work. (I talked about his books before.) So I actually e-mailed their group (Ecap, exceptional cancer patients) yesterday. Amazingly, I received a response from Dr. B directly. I was so touched. He knows a doctor in Rome, GA, so I contacted him hoping he can recommend someone in Atlanta. We'll see how it goes!
I attended a kick off meeting for Ascend tonight (Association for Asian professionals in Accounting and Finance, or something like that!). We now have a chapter in Atlanta, so if you know anybody who may be interested, please encourage them to join (www.naasa.org). It was a fun meeting but I'm exhausted now. Good night!

It was great to see you last night. I wanted to talk with you more about what exactly that you do at work, etc. I just took a class about IFRS vs. US GAAP differences. It almost seems like "restatement" on every account balance, but at the same time it made me feel like the world is becoming one, at least in the accounting world. Are you going to be in town for this holiday season? Please take care.
I am glad that you are being so proactive about your fight and that you are seeking the kind of treatment that you need (for mind, body and soul). I am sure this Doctor in Rome can recommend someone in Atlanta. If not, it might be a nice trip to see him in Rome.
