I don't know if I talked about this before but one thing Dr. M told me to do and I do it every day is skin brushing. You can use a regular hair brush or you can purchase a special skin brush but you directly brush your skin three times each towards your heart. You can start from the tip of your foot and hand, and move in closer to the heart. This is to boost your immune system. We have a similar thing in Japan where we use a dry cloth to rub your skin. We usually do it in winter not to catch cold, so I think skin brushing works in a similar way.
Also, I received an article from Jim's aunt about the power of Vitamin D. Instead of taking the regular recommended daily dose, you take like 3 times the daily dose, and it can help prevent cancer among other things (and in some cases, it helps to eliminate cancer). So I increased my Vitamin D intake also. The only problem is D is kind of strong so I have to have a full stomach before taking it (or it makes me nauseous).
By the way, remember I got a speeding ticket last month? Well, it was from the City of Atlanta, and now the city has a very good website where you can see how many points you are going to lose on your ticket. I checked mine and it was 0 points, so I went ahead and paid the fine on-line (which is also a very good feature). I hope all counties/cities get this system!

With a website like that, Atlanta will make it much easier and more convenient to speed ;)
That's interesting info about the "skin brushing". Massage therapists always say you should rub the skin away from the heart to flush the toxins away. I wonder who's right?
Really (about brushing)? I have to ask Dr. M about that next time!
Hi Mizuho! I'm so glad you got mom's article. She sent it to me as well & I found it intriguing. Also, I drink Kefir as well. I love it !!
I am praying for your complete healing & health. Also, how is Jim holding up?
Mizuho-
I found this on skin brushing.

I think your doctor is right. Maybe the other massage therapist is for something other than the immune system??
