It was so cold today - I didn't realize it was so cold until I got to the Day Care to drop Kai off. It was so warm in our apt and in the garage so I didn't put a jacket on Kai. I hope he didn't play outside today. (I forgot to put shoes on him yesterday - so today is a little improvement!)
By the way I got my acupuncturist appointment tomorrow. I'm so looking forward to seeing Dr. L, the acupuncturist, since I heard such a good thing from Ms. S. My condition is improving every week but I haven't been able to get over the esophagus pain (slowly improving), coughs and the tiredness. I hear it is a common problem for people after chemo/radiation treatment to be exhausted and have muscle cramps/joint pain for a while (bone marrow gets depleted by treatment). So I am physically doing much better and able to eat/drink more but I am also just exhausted - especially in the afternoons and evenings. I'm hoping Dr. L will be able to help me with that!
Can you believe Thanksgiving is next week already? It seems that this year the fall just flew by.
Keep warm everyone and Good night!

Well, Rebecca makes fun of me for my car looking like it's lived in, but . . . there's always an extra umbrella, gloves, etc. Keep a spare travel pack for Kai in the car, shoes, change of clothes, etc. and then if you forget, whatever you need is in your trunk. I've always said naps should be mandatory. Take little naps if you can throughout the day. It helps. See you soon!

The healing process can tire you out. I think the fact that you are so tired is a good sign, a lot of your body's energy is being used up right now to clean out that cancer. Of course, knowing that doesn't help you when you have that late afternoon "crash".
It is strange, it doesn't seem like we really got much fall around here until after Halloween, and then WHAM! It's time for Thanksgiving. The weather certainly feels more like winter than fall the last couple of days.
Stay warm, and take all the time that you can to rest!
I have been busy and not visited your blog for a while... But I was thinking of you.. Alisha from SPR asked me abour you this week.
By the way, are you still drinking kefir? I used to make kefir at home. It's not difficult to culture kefir, but you have to take care of it every day. I got too lazy and stopped.
I's really getting cold. Take care!
Hi ladies - Val, it's a great idea. I think I'll keep a spare pack in the car. Thanks!
Chriseda - I'm doing better after the acupuncturist (see next post).
Masako-san, yes, I'm drinking kefir and I'm too lazy to make it myself (my parents used to make them also). Sorry I want to return the juicer to you soon - you must miss your juice!
