TV shows

I was going to write mostly about my cancer treatment on the blog but I decided to talk about other things - it is boring if it is just about cancer, isn't it?
Anyway, I hear laughter has a positive effect on your health. And I love to laugh. Our son makes me laugh every day - he is so funny! But here are some of the TV shows I love to watch - they are very entertaining and guaranteed to make you laugh:

Flipping Out (Bravo) - unfortunately they just finished the season. But if you haven't seen it catch the reruns! It is a reality TV show about a flipper in CA.
Monk (USA) - Monk is a brilliant detective who also has OCD. I love this show on Friday night.
Rescue Me (FX) - this is a crazy show about fire fighters in NY. Sometimes I can not believe what goes on the show - but it is highly entertaining.

Happy Hump Day Everyone! I hope you are having a good week. Mizuho, you should feel free to talk about whatever you want- this is your blog. There are so many good shows out right now and with the new fall season coming up, TV time is going to be more competitive than ever.

I like Monk a lot too, oh and you can't beat The Office and My Name Is Earl when you want a good laugh! I have spent a lot of time this summer on the couch sewing and catching up with Charmed re-runs on TNT (I never caught it the first time around). While not funny, it's still a pretty good show (although not as good as Buffy The Vampire Slayer IMO). Oh, and I am TOTALLY addicted to Gilmore Girls. I know it's very "girlie" but the dialogue just snaps and the neat little small town reminds me a lot of Northern Exposure and Twin Peaks.

Mizuho- what's a flipper?

You all may have already watched this. DVD called "the law of attraction - the Secret" is one of my motivation boosters(http://www.thesecret.tv/home.html)

Hi Chriseda, flipper is a real estate developer who buys houses, remodels and sell them soon (flip).
By the way, what is Happy Hump Day??

Masako-san, I read parts of the book, the secret but haven't watched the movie. We'll netflix it. Thanks for the suggestion!
