Day 8
I had my second dose of cisplatin today - finished around 3:30pm. I'm ok but just exhausted. I can not drive myself anymore so Jim has to drive me around. I'm taking very strong anti-nausea drugs which make me really drowsy. By the way Jim just had my car detailed so it is sparkling clean! I haven't seen my car so clean in years. I'm going to rest now - hope you are all doing well!

Well...I've been a car with Jim driving and it's probably a good idea for anyone in that situation to be on anti-nausea pills.. ha ha.

LOL Val's got that right! Remind me to tell you guys of the time I had tummy troubles and Jim got us lost on the way home in Atlanta. I thought I was gonna have to KILL him!
Well, I think the fact that you are sleepy is a good thing. Your body heals itself when you rest so this is just your body's way of saying, "Hey! Let's take a break and rest and get rid of all this nasty cancer stuff." Besides, you were always a "car sleeper". Remember when you used to come home with me on the weekends in college? You always fell asleep about half way there.
Rest up hon, let us know if there is anything at all you need and try to eat something when you can!
